~Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful,And since we’ve no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow~
Like most adults in winter, I’m not the biggest fan of snow. It looks pretty when there’s a thin blanket of it, but it gets extremely frustrating when you wind up with five feet of the stuff, and it glues itself so thickly to your car that it takes a running engine and twenty minutes of scraping just to be able to see through the windshield.
But then again, it’s really hard to be mad at the snow when you have this little thing wanting to go out and play in it:
Health and Body Image Goal
Are you really going to make me talk about this? Okay, fine…
To be perfectly honest, I’ve actually lost a couple of pounds somehow, which confuses me deeply, but may have simply been a result of several weeks of stress. Now that things are calmed down and all I have left to do for Christmas is wrap stuff, chances are that those pounds will return and bring some friends with them.
No, I haven’t been exercising. I ain’t got time to exercise. Ha ha…I know…that’s what everyone says. But come on…so much to wrap! CHRISTMAS, people! CHRISTMAS!
Ha ha ha…I can’t honestly say that my manuscript has crossed my mind since last week’s accountability post. Again…wrapping. Really, you have no concept of how much wrapping I have to do. I know, I’m a bad writer. Holidays are my Achilles heel.
1,000,000 Word Goal
Continuing on with the theme, I have very little to report this week. The only writing I did was for this blog, for a grand spanking total of 2373 words. I hope to have a much, MUCH better week this week, but that really depends on how much wrapping I manage to get done over the next couple of days.
In conclusion, it’s been a good week for the holidays, but a bad week for anything resembling work on my part. I think they call that a Christmas vacation, and I’ve fallen victim to its charms. 😄
