Totally Obscure Questions

I’m feeling a little silly today and I have absolutely nothing prepared for today, so I thought I’d do this completely ridiculous survey full of absolutely pointless and obscure questions. Won’t that be fun? Sure it will! 😛

  • 1: What eye color do you find sexiest? Blue, definitely, and I’m totally not just saying that because my husband’s eyes are blue. Blue is bright and playful and super-sexy.
  • 2: White, milk, or dark chocolate mocha? I like all chocolate, but milk chocolate anything is the best.
  • 3: If you could get a Sharpie tattoo on your back, what would it be? It wouldn’t really matter, would it? Because Sharpie washes off (eventually). So, I dunno…the TARDIS. lol
  • 4: Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it? I grew up in a small town and I liked it just fine. I could traverse the entire town on my bike, and everyone knew everyone. It was nice.
  • 5: Your favorite adult as a child? (and not your parents, if they were your favorite) Probably my uncle Rob. He was always the funny one when I was a kid.
  • 6: What kind of smoothie sounds really good right now? Strawberry-banana…yum…
  • 7: Most embarrassing moment from your elementary school years? Probably the day in grade three when I slathered makeup all over my face and the older kids made horrible fun of me because I looked like a clown.
  • 8: Most embarrassing moment from your middle school years? There were lots, but off the top of my head: I sent a carnation to my crush on Valentines Day and he had an allergic reaction.
  • 9: Most embarrassing moment from your high school years? I honestly can’t think of any right now. It’s weird to admit, but I think high school was a pretty decent time for me overall.
  • 10: Pirates or ninjas? Why? Ninjas, because I get sea-sick. 😛
  • 11: Have you ever climbed a tree more than twenty feet off the ground? I’m not really sure. I climbed a lot of trees as a kid, but I don’t know how high they were. I want to say probably not, but it’s possible.
  • 12: Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing set? I loved swinging, and I had a swing set in my backyard. I still like to sit and swing at the playground while my daughter is playing elsewhere.
  • 13: If you could have any pet in the world, illegal or not, what would you get? When I was a kid I always thought it would be amazing to have a pet wolf, although I have more of a healthy fear of them these days.
  • 14: What’s your most favorite part of your body? If we’re including the face in “body”, I’d definitely go with my eyes because I think my eyes are gorgeous (humility be damned). If we’re not including the face I’d probably say my shoulders. I’ve got some nice shoulders.
  • 15: What’s your most favorite part of your personality? I dunno, probably the fact that I can get along with mostly anyone as long as they’re not an asshole.
  • 16: Madonna or Lady Gaga? Neither? Both? Who cares? A definite “who cares”.
  • 17: Have you ever watched the Superbowl all the way through? I think I almost did once, but gave up sometime in the second half.
  • 18: Have you ever watched any major sporting event drunk? Maybe not completely wasted, but I’ve definitely had my share of drinks while watching a hockey game.
  • 19: What’s the most delicious food you’ve ever eaten in your life? The chicken stew my husband makes. Seriously, I could eat it every day for weeks and not get sick of it.
  • 20: Margarine or butter? Which did you grow up with? Margarine? My mom would have to confirm, but I’m pretty sure we always had margarine, and that’s what I use now too.
  • 21: Whole, skim, 1%, or 2% milk? (Did you know they make 1 1/2% milk?) My husband and I drink skim, but I buy 2% for the kid because the fat is supposed to be good for growing brains. And no, I actually didn’t know that they make 1.5% milk…I know they make 0.5%, but I’ve never noticed 1.5%.
  • 22: Which continents have you been on? Just North America. I’m not a traveler by any means.
  • 23: Do you get motion sickness? Any horror stories? I do, and there was this one time at the circus, I went on a good dozen rides and was absolutely fine, but then when I went on the freakin’ tea-cups I ended up running off and throwing up all over the place.
  • 24: Backpacks or satchels? Satchels for moderate use, backpacks if I’m going to be going any distance because my shoulders get sore.
  • 25: Would you wear a rainbow jacket? A neon yellow sweater? Checkered pants? Maybe if it was well done. Not likely. Absolutely no chance.
  • 26: What was your favorite cartoon growing up? There were too many to choose between, but Ninja Turtles was definitely one of the biggest ones.
  • 27: If you had to have a cow or a pig, which would you take? Why? A pig, because they’re smaller, like a dog, and they’re apparently very loving and affectionate as pets.
  • 28: If you had to look at one city skyline for the rest of your life, which would it be? I don’t know if I’ve ever really been to a city with a nice skyline. I guess I’ll just say San Francisco, because that seems like it would be a nice one to have to look at.
  • 29: Longest plane ride you’ve ever been on? 9 hours. There were multiple stops, but because it was a charter flight that had to just keep moving you weren’t allowed off it it wasn’t your stop.
  • 30: The latest you’ve ever slept? The time is irrelevant because it depends on when you fell asleep, but I have slept 11 hours without twitching before.
  • 31: Would you buy a sweater covered in kitten pictures? Would you wear it if someone gave it you for free? Nooooo….no to both questions.
  • 32: Do you pick at scabs? Yes. Yes I do.
  • 33: Favorite kind of bean? Kidney? Black? Pinto? I’m not really a fan of beans. The only time I eat them is when they’re in molasses sauce and there’s cut up hot dogs mixed in.
  • 34: How far can you throw a baseball? Ha ha ha ha…not very far. I dunno, maybe 30 feet?
  • 35: If you had to move to another country, where would you move? I’m thinking maybe England.
  • 36: Have you ever eaten Ethiopian food? Vietnamese? Korean? Nepalese? How was it? No, no, no, and no. I shouldn’t say that…I may have eaten something Vietnamese or Korean on the menu at my work camp, but it wouldn’t have been traditional, so it probably doesn’t count.
  • 37: Small, liberal arts school or public university? Why? Public university because, sorry, but liberal arts are all but useless.
  • 38: A relationship with love or one with sex? Preferably both, but I’d rather have love, thanks.
  • 39: Do you eat enough vegetables? Not even close. I’m probably deficient in all of the vitamins.
  • 40: Do you like horror movies? How about thrillers? I can enjoy both if they’re done well (or done so bad that it’s fun).
  • 41: Would you scratch a crotch itch in public? Only after ensuring that no one could see!
  • 42: Do you swear in front of your parents? Yes, although I do honestly do try not to.
  • 43: Coolest thing you’ve ever been for Halloween? If I’m being totally honest, I don’t remember a lot of my Halloween costumes. I remember being a witch once…a clown…I think one time I was a cat…I don’t think I ever really dressed up as anything particularly cool. 😛
  • 44: If you could change your natural hair color, would you? To what? I like my natural hair color, although I do wish it was a little lighter.
  • 45: Do you want to get married? Have kids? I am married, and I have a kid, so there you have it.
  • 46: Do you use a reusable water bottle? If not, you should. I do sometimes, but I drink more herbal tea than plain water, so not all that often.
  • 47: City or nature person? I like to visit the city, but I prefer to live a little closer to nature.
  • 48: Have you ever used something other than “makeup” as makeup? (Like paint? Markers?) In junior high when I was bored I would draw intricate henna-like tattoos all over my hands and ankles with black ink-gel pens.
  • 49: Can you walk well in high heels? Even if you’re a guy? can but I definitely prefer not to.
  • 50: Post 5 awesome things about yourself. BRAG AWAY! Five awesome things? Well, #1. I make a pretty awesome donair pizza. #2. I’ve written and self-published a zombie apocalypse novel. #3. I’ve (thus far) hand-constructed every one of my daughter’s Halloween costumes (we’re up to number five this year). #4. I’m pretty sure I’m up over 200 Funko Pop figures…that’s awesome depending on which way you look at it. #5. I’m a mega-nerd, my husband is a mega-nerd, and we’re turning our daughter into a mega-nerd, and that may be the most important achievement of my life. XD

    • I consider myself to be, yes. lol I’m not as much of a gamer nerd as I used to be because I can’t seem to find the time, but I’m obsessed with so many fandoms that it’s actually getting a bit scary. XD
