Today I’ve decided to take a blog break for two reasons: one is that I really need to focus on NaNo today instead of trying to come up with something to blog about, and the other is that I’m busy working on a special project for my daughter.
So in light of that special project, I thought I’d take a quick moment to come on here and send this message to all the parents out there:
Learn how to be crafty. I’m not saying that you have to be a magnificent seamstress or an art major or anything like that, but a little bit of craftiness can go a long way toward making your kids (and yourself) happy, especially if it means that you wind up with something fun and original that your kids wouldn’t have had otherwise.
